G7 states won't recognize changes in Ukraine's status achieved by Russian special operation

The foreign ministers of the G7 countries and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba agreed at an online meeting not to recognize any changes in Ukraine's status achieved by the Russian special military operation, the G7 said in a statement after the talks.
"Ministers underlined that any change of status achieved by the Russian act of aggression will not be recognized," it said.
The ministers also vowed to continue taking steps against Russia if it does not stop its special military operation in Ukraine.
In addition, they discussed ways to increase assistance for Ukraine, including in the field of cybersecurity and the crackdown on disinformation.
