Obama: G5 leaders support Ukrainian sovereignty, expect further reforms

U.S. President Barack Obama has said that at G5 + US meeting the leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Speaking at a press conference in Warsaw on Saturday Obama said British Prime Minister David Cameron, French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and he met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and they reaffirmed their strong support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the need to continue political and economic reforms.

Obama also recalled that at the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission, a new assistance package to improve Alliance support for Ukrainian forces was agreed.
