Fozzy Group has become the first retail chain that received the certification of a quality laboratory at the state level.

According to the group press service, the initial investment in test facilities amounted to about UAH 700,000. Preparatory work for the certification of the laboratory lasted six months, the group purchased and installed measuring and test equipment.

Fozzy Group noted that now the laboratory can conduct studies in the field of state metrological control.

"Obtaining certification in accordance with the legislation requirements regarding measurement laboratories is a significant step in the development of the quality department. This certificate allows us to build a new level of relations with suppliers to provide our customers with quality products, which is the priority for Fozzy Group," the head of the quality department at Fozzy Group, Maksym Barabukha, said.

The Fozzy Group quality control laboratory was built on the basis of the company's largest distribution center in the Peremoha village in Kyiv region in April 2014 to control the quality of goods delivered to the groups' retail chains.
