Fozzy Group co-owners transfer 98.3% of shares from eponymous fund to newly created limited liability company

Fozzy Group LLC has acquired 98.288% or 1.976 million shares in private joint-stock company Fozzy Group (both based in Vyshneve, Kyiv region), part of the Fozzy Group retail and industrial group (Kyiv).

The private joint-stock company reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine that the above-mentioned stake was sold on February 2 by public joint-stock company Closed Non-diversified Venture Corporate Investment Fund Fozzy Group (Vyshneve).

According to the report, Fozzy Group Investment Fund as of February 2, 2015 does not own shares in private joint-stock company Fozzy Group.

According to information from the state register of companies and individual-businessmen, as of February 13, 2015 the participants of Fozzy Group LLC were company head Volodymyr Kostelman (51%), Oleh Sotnikov and Roman Chyhyr (23.235% each) and Yuriy Hnatenko (2.53%).

According to information from the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, as of late 2010, the shareholders and co-owners of Fozzy Group Investment Fund were Kostelman as head of the supervisory board, Sotnikov as a member of the supervisory board, Hnatenko (secretary of the supervisory board) and Chyhyr with the same stakes in the charter capital of the fund (as of February 13, 2015 the charter capital totaled UAH 100 million).

Fozzy Group has operated in Ukraine since 1997. The group includes Silpo supermarkets, Le Silpo premium format stores, Fora and Bumi convenience stores, Fozzy hypermarkets, Bila Romashka pharmaceutical supermarkets, the Bud Zdorov pharmacy chain, and the Ringoo personal electronics chain.

The retail chains of Fozzy Group increased goods turnover by 15% in 2013, to over UAH 30.5 billion.

Fozzy Group as of February 13, 2015, united 458 retail outlets: 247 Silpo stores, including Le Silpo markets, nine Fozzy Cash&Carry hypermarkets and 202 Fora stores.

Its production division is represented by the Nizhyn canning factory and the Varto poultry farm. Fozzy Group's restaurant business in Kyiv consists of the following restaurants: U Khromoho Pola (Lame Paul's), Staromacek, Divan (formerly Prad-A-Café), U Golema, Charka, Kruzhek and Gachek, Slaviansky Dvor, La Bodeguita del Medio, Mi Piache, Tatami and Karluv Most.
