Results of sociological study of war's impact on microcredit in Ukraine

On Wednesday, February 28, at 11.00, the press centre of the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency (8/5-А Reitarska Street) will host a press conference entitled "Results of sociological study of war's impact on microcredit in Ukraine" of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, dedicated to the presentation of the results of a comprehensive study of the microcredit market in Ukraine during martial law.

The study revealed a significant increase in demand for microcredit among Ukrainians over the full-scale military operations to cover daily expenses and urgent needs; some 23% of respondents applied for microcredit for the first time precisely because of war conditions; an analysis of the use of microloans; the level of satisfaction with the service of microfinance organizations, as well as the perception of interest rates and risks associated with obtaining microloans will be presented.
