KYIV. July 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Promotion Outsourcing and Promotion Staff have filed an appeal against the Kyiv prosecutor's office getting temporary access (and permission to withdraw) to their documents and bank accounts.

"This court ruling, which is also illegal, leads to the blocking of work of our companies. And given the fact that we work with Ukrainian representations of transnational companies and the largest Ukrainian companies, the matter also concerns Ukraine's reputation as a reliable partner for professional international business. It's about Ukraine's investment rating," CEO of Promotion Outsourcing and Promotion Staff Artyom Mikhailov said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

He stressed that the companies do not recognize the charges that law enforcement agencies are trying to put forward, and have already filed appeals.

"Our companies are included in the list of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine, not in the top 100, but in the top 200 definitely. We work in full compliance with the Ukrainian legislation and international business standards. Our staff includes more than 2,000 specialists who provide services to our customers. From 2014 to the first half of 2018 we had paid more than UAH 1 billion in taxes to the national budget of Ukraine," he said.

The lawyer of the companies, partner of the Lavrynovych & Partners law firm Denys Ovcharov, in turn, noted that criminal proceedings, in which Promotion Outsourcing and Promotion Staff are involved, are being conducted with the gross violations of the Ukrainian legislation.
