KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services intends to improve Ukraine's position in the Doing Business international rating in terms of obtaining permits for construction to the first 20 countries by canceling share participation. "Next year we want to get into the top 20 in the World Bank rating [in terms of obtaining permits for construction]," Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Lev Partskhaladze said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine. At the same time, the ministry predicts the fall of Ukraine in 2018-2019 in the rating in terms of obtaining permits for construction from the 35th place to the 51st position, and in the general rating from the 76th to 77th position in case if share participation for developers is not canceled. According to the expert, in the near future the Verkhovna Rada will consider two draft laws designed to cancel share participation. In addition, the ministry will make a number of other decisions to increase the attractiveness of construction business in Ukraine: simplifying the procedure of assigning a postal address, insurance of developers when issuing certificates and strengthening control over quality of construction.
