On Monday, May 29, at 10.30, the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency will host a press conference by Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center: "Protected areas for rare species of flora and fauna - revolutionary breakthrough in nature preservation." The Cabinet of Ministers approved Resolution No. 499 "On Approval of the Procedure for Creating Protected Zones for the Conservation of Biodiversity in Forests and the Procedure for Creating Protected Zones for the Preservation of Objects of the Red Book of Ukraine" according to Law No. 1684-IX of July 15, 2021. Participants include Director of the Department of the Nature Reserve Fund and Biodiversity of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Eduard Arustamyan; director of the NGO Ekozahin Mykhailo Pohrebysky; Director of the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center Volodymyr Boreiko (8/5a Reitarska Street).
