Poroshenko sacks Holosiyivsky district court judge for illegal rulings during Revolution of Dignity

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree dismissing Kyiv's Holosiyivsky District Court judge Larysa Kalinichenko for the violation of the oath.

As reported by the press service of Ukraine's head of state, an ad hoc commission on examination of judges had established that Kalinichenko during the events of November 21, 2013 – February 22, 2014, ordered to arrest activists of the Revolution of Dignity as a pre-trial preventive measure, and ruled on the administrative responsibility of Automaidan activists concerning their disobedience of demands of law enforcers; had gravely violated provisions of the procedural legislation; therefore, having demonstrated subjective and biased hearing of the mentioned cases.

By the same order the president also dismissed judge of Drahobych City District Court of Lviv region Andriy Haiduk in connection with the enforcement of his conviction over illegal rulings and forgery.

Besides, Poroshenko also fired Ivano-Frankivsk City Court judge of Ivano-Frankivsk region Oleksandr Boichuk following the end of his term in office and Luhansk District Administrative Court judge Olena Dybova on the basis of her own resignation.
