Citizens of Ukraine will be able to receive compensation for part of the payment for goods and services produced in Ukraine as part of the new state cashback program "Buy Ukrainian," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the presentation of the Made in Ukraine platform in Kyiv.

"For the purchase of certain types of goods and services made in Ukraine, citizens of Ukraine will be able to receive a refund of part of the funds on a special card," the head of state said.

Zelenskyy said that he had given the instructions to the government, and this program is currently being developed.

According to the president, the goal of this program is "to ensure that Ukrainian money remains in Ukraine and works in Ukraine."

"These are taxes, these are the salaries of our soldiers, these are the capabilities of our state, including defense ones. The parameters of the Ukrainian cashback are already being prepared: financial and technical," the president said.

He added that it is necessary to try to make the cashback program work this year.

Zelenskyy said that the newly created Made in Ukraine platform should become a platform for constant direct dialogue between the state and entrepreneurs.

The head of state indicated that work continues on other government programs that will allow domestic producers to scale up their work.

"These are government grants, loans, stimulation of production, demand through Ukrainian cashback, assistance in foreign markets," the president said.
