MTS Ukraine head asks competitors to not play 'anti-Russian card' in attracting customers

The CEO of MTS Ukraine mobile operator has addressed his rival, Kyivstar company in general and its president Peter Chernyshov in particular, asking that they refrain from playing the "anti-Russian card" in attracting customers.

"Dear colleagues from Kyivstar, Peter Chernyshov, stop playing the anti-Russian card in your private communications. Do not be like propagandists from the hated country, do not intentionally mislead those who "buys into" your "blue logo," without going to the point. No matter that the economic interest of "Russians" in your esteemed company is higher than in MTS Ukraine. It is important that this suddenly became the key argument in the competition for the hearts of people. Not the quality of service, not the level of prices and services, not business results, but namely "patriotism" with the narration of all kinds of nonsense," Ivan Zolochevsky wrote on his Facebook page.

Chernyshov denied the accusations, saying that the company does not use the "Russian" factor in attracting customers.

In reply, Zolochevsky referred to the post of Ukrainian journalist Anastasia Bereza, in which she wrote that she changed her number from MTS Ukraine to Kyivstar, guided by, among other things, unwillingness "to pay to Russians for communications."
