Ukrainian inventors donate portable blood analyzer to volunteer medics

KYIV. July 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian developers of the Scientific Research Institute NanoSapiens and LLC Biopromin will present a unique portable medical non-invasive blood analyzer as part of the Ukraine Healthy Initiative to the I.N.Pyrohov First Voluntary Hospital named.

The equipment, which will be delivered to doctors next month in environmental protection zone for the treatment of Ukrainian soldiers and local residents, allows non-invasive methods to obtain indicators for 130 parameters of human life in a short period of time. The device comprehensively assesses the state of the body in terms of functional metabolic and hemodynamic balance, water metabolism and gas hemostasis, which are interrelated with the enzymatic and immune system.

The device is a unique portable medical laboratory, which is necessary for critically ill patients in order to determine quickly the main indicators of life activity.

The analyzer, which requires connection to a computer, allows doctors to perform diagnostics without any consumables, and also provides the doctor with a list of possible conditions and diagnoses corresponding to the patient's vital signs.

Biopromin has been producing equipment since 2006. It years has been engaged in the development of medical devices for diagnosis and treatment for more than 25. Currently Biopromin works in the field of creating a telemedicine platform using its own diagnostic equipment for screening. The company is a structural subdivision of NanoSapiens. Over the past nine months, Biopromin has provided 13 analyzers to communities in various regions of Ukraine.

The Pyrohov First Volunteer Hospital is the largest non-governmental project to involve civilian medical personnel in the provision of medical assistance in the Joint Forces Operation area. The project is supported by the eponymous charity foundation jointly with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and with the support of the National Security and Defense Council.
