Fragment of Osa missile falls on Lysychansk school territory, students evacuated - Denisova

Almost 700 students were evacuated from a school in Lysychansk (Luhansk region) early on Friday after a fragment of a shell fell on the territory of the educational institution, Ukrainian human rights commissioner Liudmyla Denisova has said.
She also called on law enforcement officers to immediately determine the causes of the incident.
"Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident [...] My representative Pavlo Lysiansky is at the scene, finding out all the details. Preliminarily, it was possible to establish that a missile from the Osa surface-to-air missile system had exploded in the air. One of its fragments fell on the territory of the school, and the other near Lysychansk Rubber Products Plant," Denisova wrote on her Facebook page on Friday.
In this regard, she called on the police, the Security Service of Ukraine and other agencies to "urgently establish the true causes of the incident."
Lysychansk is a city of regional subordination in Luhansk region, the center of the territory subordinated to Lysychansk City Council. The city is located 10-20 kilometers from the contact line of the conflicting sides in Donbas.
