Air defense destroys 22 of 33 enemy suicide bombers – Air Force
Ukrainian air defense destroyed 22 of 33 enemy suicide bombers overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
It is reported that on the night of January 18, 2024, the invaders attacked with 33 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from Primorsko-Akhtarsk region and Kursk region (Russia).
The occupiers also fired two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from Belgorod region into Kharkiv region.
In particular, the main directions of attack are south and north.
It is noted that anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups and electronic warfare equipment have been involved in repelling the air attack.
Air defense worked within Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd and Khmelnytsky regions.
