Ukraine neutralizes 1 ballistic missile, 52 out of 60 enemy UAVs, hits recorded at 5 locations

The Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized one ballistic missile and 52 of 60 enemy UAVs, recorded the hit of a ballistic missile and eight strike UAVs at five locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed one ballistic missile and 52 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the message on Telegram reads.

In total, on the night of December 30 (from 18:00 on December 29), the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and the Voronezh region, as well as 60 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation, Gvardiyske, Chauda – temporarily occupied Crimea, about 40 of them – Shahed UAVs.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As reported, on December 29, the Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralized 21 Russian drones out of 25, with four UAVs hitting at two locations.
