Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has arrived in Kyiv for a visit, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has said.
"Glad to welcome @EspenBarthEide to Kyiv on this cold winter day. Ukraine and Norway are close allies with a centuries-old shared history.
We began by honoring the memory of our fallen defenders who gave their lives defending Ukraine and our common values," he wrote on the social network X.
According to Sybiha, he and his colleague will discuss mutually beneficial cooperation, peace efforts, defense and resilience of Ukraine.
"Grateful to Norway for its support," the Ukrainian minister added.
