The most difficult situation with energy supply remains in certain districts of Kyiv and on the left bank of the Kyiv region.
"We held a conference call with all regions on the state of the energy system and the country's life support. In the regions most affected by shelling, energy companies are carrying out restoration work in conditions of constant enemy attacks, low temperatures below -10 degrees, icing of equipment and power lines," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.
According to her, the most difficult situation remains in certain districts of Kyiv and on the left bank of the Kyiv region, in particular in the Boryspil and Brovary districts.
"A separate focus is on restoring electricity supply to consumers in the Odesa, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, where the situation is difficult after night shelling. The main task is to restore electricity and heat supply to all houses," the prime minister wrote.
According to her, critical infrastructure is operating smoothly, more than 7 thousand "points of invincibility" have been deployed throughout the country, traffic on the main highways has been ensured, roads are being cleared by special equipment.
"Local authorities are organizing the work of educational institutions, taking into account weather conditions on the ground. We are monitoring the restoration of the power system. The government is in constant coordination with the heads of the OVA and is providing all necessary support," Svyrydenko added.
Earlier, the prime minister said that a significant improvement in the electricity situation in Kyiv is expected closer to Thursday, January 15.
