Polish Sejm speaker says Ukraine may participate in Visegrad Group as observer – Rada chairman
Chairman of the lower house of the Polish parliament Marek Kuchcinski has voiced the initiative of Ukraine's possible participation in the work of the Visegrad Group (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) as an observer, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy has said.
"Mr. Marshal gave a number of interesting and important initiatives regarding the intensification of relations in the matter of visa-free regime (for citizens of Ukraine), in the matter of speeding up our accession to and membership in the European Union, but also on the matter of the format of Ukraine's participation, possibly as an observer, in the Visegrad Group," Parubiy said on Sunday in the town of Truskavets, Lviv region, commenting on the results of the talks of the two parliaments' delegations.
