Parubiy to back nomination of Yuriy Lutsenko as prosecutor general of Ukraine

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy has said he backs nomination of leader of Petro Poroshenko Bloc Yuriy Lutsenko as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

"He is one of those people, who very deeply understands how the mentioned system [prosecution agencies] can work and how this system can simply destroy people and that's why if we talk about Yuriy Vitaliyovych Lutsenko, I personally back his nomination [as prosecutor general] and when there is a voting at the parliament, I'll vote for him since I do believe that he will be able break this cemented system from the inside," Parubiy said on Inter TV Channel on Sunday.
