Hroisman says new parliament may begin its work on December 1
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Hroisman has predicted that the new parliament will begin its work on December 1.
He said at a meeting with the European Business Association in Kyiv on Thursday that a coalition agreement should be ready before the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.
"We have time until the first meeting of parliament. It will happen on December 1. Before the government is formed, every minister should know his or her job," he said.
Hroisman was elected an MP on the party list of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko.
Early parliamentary elections in Ukraine were held on October 26.
