Question of personnel in government should be resolved by Yanukovych – parliament speaker
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has said he believes that a government reshuffle is a question that should be resolved by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
"I think that the president will analyze the work of each government member. This is a question that can be resolved by the president. I think there will be changes [in the composition of the government] after the work of each [government] member is assessed," Rybak said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
At the same time, he said that he could not name exactly those who could be dismissed during a reshuffle of government members.
"Who [could be dismissed]? I have not talked with the president [about this subject], but I think that in the near future the president will say himself what options there are," Rybak said.
