Parliament speaker sees no grounds for introduction of state of emergency in Ukraine
There are no grounds for the introduction of a state of emergency in Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Rybak has said.
"This issue is not currently being considered at any level... [and] I see no need [to introduce a state of emergency]," he said at a briefing on Monday.
He said that everything must be done to ensure the operation of government buildings.
