There’s no specific date for war end today – Podoliak
Today, it is impossible to clearly state a specific date for the end of the war, in order to achieve this, we need a synchronized position of the allies in forcing Russia into the negotiation process, said Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office.
“You understand that there are always insiders in the editorial offices who have access to everything at once and they know everything, but the reality looks a little different. Today, it is impossible to clearly state when everything will end,” Podoliak commented on Sky News' information on the national telethon that an alleged peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia could be reached before Easter.
The adviser to the head of the President’s Office summarized that in order to achieve peace, it is necessary that all allies clearly take the same position, as well as forcing Russia into the negotiation process.
“And Russia's coercion is a synchronized position in public, informational pressure, diplomatic pressure, economic sanctions of a different order, military assistance, again, of a different order to Ukraine,” Podoliak said.
According to him, more active diplomatic work with the countries of the Global South is also needed.
