Air defense eliminates 27 out of 35 attack UAVs – Air Force
On Tuesday night, the Ukrainian air defense eliminated 27 out of 35 enemy attack drones, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 27 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs were shot down, six were locally lost, information about damage or casualties was not received. Two more enemy drones flew in the direction of Belgorod region and the occupied Donetsk region," the message says.
It is reported that air defense worked in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The air command reports that on the night of September 03, 2024, the enemy struck with three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Crimea, an X-59/69 guided air missile from Kursk region and 35 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs (launch areas - Kursk region, Cape Chauda - Crimea).
