Cabinet will create single web portal with info on public funds
The Cabinet of Ministers will create a single web portal with info on the use of public funds, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"The government will create a single web portal on the use of public funds," he said at a Cabinet meeting.
Advisor to Yatseniuk Denys Hursky said that the law on the use of public funds was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada as early as 2013.
In 2014, an open data portal was created, which was used by the state agency for e-government in Ukraine.
Hursky said that the Ukrainian portal was created under world standards and has statistics and budget data.
Later, at a press conference, Hursky demonstrated similar web portals, in particular that of the UK government, which allows citizens in real time to view or state treasury payments, or familiarize themselves with the wages of any employee of the government.
