Govt action plan for 2024 provides for reform of social sphere to create human wealth – PM
The government action plan for 2024 provides for reform of the social sphere to create a person’s wealth, and not depend on the state, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Reform of the social sphere. Social transition. This name reflects the essence of the planned changes, because we are moving from the model of a person's dependence on the state to the formation of his wealth," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
According to the prime minister, much attention will be paid to the formation of registers so that the state can see in detail who receives and how much to distribute the available funds as fairly as possible.
"We will also stimulate the development of the social services market. We are introducing the principle "money follows the person" now in the social sphere. That is, we finance services for people, and not just institutions of the social security system," he added.
In addition, he recalled that it is planned to index pensions in March.
