Kherson and Vinnytsia airports are able to service Airbus A320 aircraft, Atlasjet Ukraine CEO Serhiy Pidhorodetsky said while commenting on the airline's plans to fly to these airports.

"These airports are in line with the requirement of our A320s. As far as I know Vinnytsia airport needs only the documental confirmation of the improvement of the runway," he said.

Pidhorodetsky said that the airline's top priorities are to launch flights from Lviv to Milan, Naples, Madrid, Kyiv, Moscow and Istanbul, and that the only issue remaining is to receive assignments for the flights.

As reported, with reference to Pidhorodetsky, Atlasjet Ukraine airline, a subsidiary of Turkey's Atlasjet, has confirmed its plans to begin flying in May 2015.

"At present we're submitting documents to receive permits to service charter flights and plan to start flying in May this year. We're also waiting for proposals to change the procedure under which the airline will be able to service regular flights," he said.

Atlasjet Ukraine was founded in September 2013. It is a subsidiary of Turkey's Atlasjet. The founders are Turkey's Atlasjet Havacilik AS, Lviv's AIS Group Ukraine, and Serhiy Pidhorodetsky.
