FC Metalurh Donetsk has dropped out of the UEFA Europa League 2013-2014.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian club beat 1-0 Albania's Kukesi at home. Bulgarian midfielder Velizar Dimitrov scored the goal after 28 minutes of the match.
The Donetsk team lost the first game 0-2 in Albania last week. Thus, Metalurh stops its participation in the Europa League this season.
As reported, on August 6, Metalurh manager Yuriy Maksymov was dismissed from his post for poor results. Maksymov has headed Metalurh since August 2012.
On August 7, Metalurh signed a contract with its new head coach, Russian Sergei Tashuyev.
