Three out of six enemy missiles destroyed by Ukrainian air defense last night – Air Force
Three out of six missiles launched by the Russian occupation forces last night were shot down by the Ukrainian air defense, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk has said.
"On the night of July 8, 2024, the enemy forces attacked Ukraine by air and ground based missiles: four Kh-101 fired by Tu-95MS strategic aircraft (from Russia's Saratov region) and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles (from Russia's Kursk region and Crimea)," he said on the Telegram channel on Monday morning.
"During combat work of the air defense forces, three Kh-101 cruise missiles were destroyed in Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions," the commander said.
