Ukraine increases production of drones hitting targets over 1000 km – Fedorov
In Ukraine, in 2024, it was possible to increase the production of long-range UAVs 10 times compared to 2023, said Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation.
"Most of the drones that attacked Russian refineries have a range of 700 to 1,000 km, but now there are models that can fly more than 1,000 km," he said in an interview with Welt.
According to Fedorov, the result depends on the development of drones. He predicts that the first prototypes of drones with artificial intelligence in small numbers may appear on the battlefield by the end of the year.
At the same time, according to him, it is not yet possible to say who is winning the technological war.
"However, it is not yet possible to say who is winning the technological war – in some areas we are winning, in others the Russians are superior to us," Fedorov stated.
