Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has stressed the importance of further creating drone assault units in the army, as well as scaling up the experience of units that "hunt" for Russian drone operators.
"Creating drone assault units is an important initiative. They have a different staff and doctrine for using drones. Recently, Code 9.2. conducted a unique operation in Kupyansk. This tactic works, so the future is for drone assault units. You will hear more about them," Fedorov said during a meeting with journalists.
Separately, the minister noted that Ukraine's task is to "knock out" Russian drone operators from the battlefield. "To form units that hunt exclusively for drone operators. They are already being created, but we need to scale up the experience gained," Fedorov said.
