EU Ambassadors approve EUR 5 bln in military aid for Ukraine under Peace Facility
Ambassadors of the European Union member countries approved the allocation of EUR 5 billion in military assistance for Ukraine within the European Peace Facility.
The corresponding decision was made on Wednesday in Brussels as part of a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives, the Belgian Chairmanship reports on its page on the social network.
"Deal! EU Ambassadors agreed in principle on a reform of the European Peace Facility, to support Ukraine with EUR 5 billion budget for 2024. The EU remains determined to provide lasting support to Ukraine and ensure that the country gets the military equipment it needs to defend itself," the chairmanship said.
