URCS Cherkasy regional organization provides temporarily displaced persons with equipment for heating houses without gas
Representatives of Cherkasy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) continue to donate potbelly stoves to internally displaced persons families for heating their homes as part of the Winter Preparation Strategy project.
"Every week, a team of specialists and volunteers visits one of the districts of Cherkasy region to provide support – potbelly stoves with additional safety kits (a fire extinguisher, an axe and a smoke alarm) for heating the houses of internally displaced families," the society said on Facebook on Monday.
First of all, potbelly stoves are provided to households that do not have gas supply.
"Recently, the team provided potbelly stoves in the town of Zolotonosha to 40 families of the Zolotonosha community," the society said.
The direction "Strategy of preparation for the winter period" is being implemented by URCS Cherkasy regional organization with the support of the Canadian Red Cross.
