EU countries cannot afford not to win together with Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression – it will be the end of Europe if Ukraine loses, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
"We all lived in anticipation of a quick war. And Putin lived in anticipation of a quick war, only he imagined it differently," the minister said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
According to Kuleba, in European countries the narrative is as follows: if the war lasts a long time, "we will still be with you as long as necessary for your victory."
"This was heard both from EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and from ministers. For Europe, this is an existential war. Europeans understand that this is about them too. They cannot afford not to win this war together with Ukraine. This it will be the end of Europe if Ukraine loses," the minister said.
