Finland preparing another package of defense assistance for Ukraine
The Finnish government is preparing another package of defense assistance for Ukraine, which will be the 19th in a row, the country's Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said.
“Finland has contributed almost EUR 2 bln to Ukraine. Our next defence materiel package is under preparation,” she said on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
“Ukraine is our largest development partner. Finland and the EU will support Ukraine for as long as needed.”
“Freedom will prevail. Many thanks for hosting us in Kyiv, Dmytro Kuleba,” she said.
As reported, on October 2, Valtonen took part in an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Kyiv.
