Bilopillia community (Sumy region), which suffered from the shelling of Russian aggressors, received assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).
"The Emergency Response Unit of Sumy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society delivered about one and a half tonnes of humanitarian aid to the residents of Bilopillia. The town recently suffered from airstrikes: the police building, schools and nearby houses have been damaged," the society said on Facebook on Monday.
People received food and hygiene kits, blankets and other essentials. In addition, 240 square meters of tarpaulins were provided to cover the damaged roofs of buildings.
As reported, the town of Bilopillia last week was subjected to massive shelling by the Russian occupiers: an air strike was carried out, shelling from the Grad MLRS and cannon artillery.
