Japan sent a batch of military aid to Ukraine on Wednesday, the country's Self-Defense Forces reported.
According to reports, an American C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft took off from the Yokota air base in western Tokyo with 38 tonnes of cargo.
In particular, non-lethal equipment – helmets and bulletproof vests – will be delivered to Ukraine. It is not reported where the plane should deliver the cargo.
