Occupants disrupt work of humanitarian corridors in Kyiv region – Zelensky
On Tuesday, the Russian occupiers did not fulfill their obligations and did not stop shelling in Kyiv region, which disrupted the work of humanitarian corridors in the region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
"Humanitarian corridors have partially opened today. A corridor from Sumy, Trostianets, Lebedyn, Shostka, and Konotop is operating in the direction of the city of Poltava. The invaders did not stop shelling and disrupted the work of humanitarian corridors in Kyiv region," Zelensky said in a video message on Tuesday.
He noted that the convoy with humanitarian cargo intended for residents of Mariupol has been blocked by the occupiers for several days in a row.
"But still, little by little, people are leaving the surrounded city by private transport," the head of state added.
