More than 8,000 people were evacuated in Kyiv region on Friday, and more than 25,000 people have been evacuated over the course of three days, head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba said.
"The evacuation continued all day long. This morning we had six approved routes, but we were able to evacuate people only along three. Bucha, Hostomel, Irpin - there really was a ceasefire regime, which allowed the residents of the region to be safely evacuated," Kuleba wrote on the Telegram channel on Friday.
He added that he hoped to continue the evacuation on Saturday.
