More than thousand people, incl hundred children, rescued from under Romanivsky bridge in Kyiv region – Interior Ministry
On Thursday, law enforcement officers managed to evacuate the inhabitants of Irpin from the occupation, more than a thousand people were rescued from under the Romanivsky bridge, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
"More than 1,000 people, of which 100 children, were helped to rescue from under the Romanivsky bridge by police of Kyiv region. On March 10, law enforcement officers managed to take the civilians of Irpin out of the occupation," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said on the Telegram channel.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, women, children, people with disabilities, who are among the evacuated residents, all were subsequently taken to a safe place.
