CERT-UA warns about mass mailings of malicious software
The Ukrainian Government's CERT-UA Cybersecurity Team has issued a warning about mass mailings of malicious software to Ukrainians' e-mail addresses.
As CERT-UA said in a message on its Facebook page, mass mailings of malicious software to emails of government officials and citizens of Ukraine are currently observed.
"A mailing of e-lists from the mailbox jowhar@xintongwood.club with the subject "Letter" was detected, which contains the attachment "letter of justice.xlsx," which, when opened, loads the FormBook SHZ. The specified file was first seen on February 28, 2022," CERT-UA reported.
The Government Cybersecurity Team of Ukraine asks everyone who received or opened this letter to immediately report it to cert@cert.gov.ua.
"We advise you to block access from your networks to the IP addresses and domains listed [in the post] in the IOS," CERT-UA said.
