European Parliament bans Kremlin representatives from its premises
President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola has says representatives of the Kremlin, which unleashed the aggression against Ukraine, will be prohibited from entering the premises.
“The European Parliament has a long and proud history of being a thorn in the side of autocrats and in that spirit I will seek to ban any Kremlin representative from entering the European Parliament premises. Aggressors and warmongers have no place in the House of Democracy,” she said on Tuesday in Brussels as part of an extraordinary meeting of the European Parliament convened because of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
