Poroshenko: election was honest, transparent, fully in line with European standards, in conditions of war we preserved democracy
Incumbent head of state Petro Poroshenko, who lost the presidential election according to the results of exit polls, has said that the presidential election in Ukraine were fair and in line with European standards.
"The election was fair, the election was transparent, fully in line with European standards," Poroshenko said in his headquarters after the announcement of the results of exit polls.
He said that in the conditions of war Ukraine has managed to preserve democracy and freedom of choice.
