Situation at Ichnia ammo depot as of 17:00 will allow for extinguishing fire soon – General Staff

The situation at the warehouses of the sixth Arsenal of the Ministry of Defense near the town of Druzhba of Ichniansky district of Chernihiv region as of 17:00 on Tuesday will allow extinguishing fire outbreaks all around the territory in the near future, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

"As of 17:00, the security situation at the sixth arsenal makes it possible in the near future to start extinguishing fire by fire units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine around the technical territory," the General Staff said on Facebook on Tuesday.

Two more fire tanks have arrived on the territory of the sixth Arsenal, air reconnaissance is also under way, the General Staff said.
