Yatsenyuk and Volker in U.S. discuss protection of Ukraine from Russian aggression
Leader of the People's Front party Arseniy Yatsenyuk in the United States has met with U.S. Department of State Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Department of State Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell.
"A good conversation with State Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell and … Kurt Volker. I appreciate the substantive nature of our dialogue," Yatsenyuk said on Facebook.
According to the politician, the time of "great political trials" is coming.
"We need to save Ukraine from the expected upheavals and from the constant threat of aggression on the part of Russia, from its evil proposals of peace, but in fact a hybrid seizure of our state. Ukraine will not compromise on our national and European future. We will defend our freedom from any attempt," Yatsenyuk said, noting that this was the essence of the conversation.
