Poroshenko congratulates U.S. on Independence Day

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the U.S. on Independence Day.

"USA is a true strategic partner of Ukraine. Happy Independence Day!" the presidential congratulatory message says posted on Facebook on Wednesday.

The U.S. Independence Day is the day of the adoption of the U.S. Declaration of Independence in 1776. It is celebrated on July 4.
