Ukrainian, Slovak border service chiefs discuss joint border patrols
Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Petro Tsyhykal and Director of the Slovak Border and Alien Police Ladislav Cemi at a meeting in Bratislava reached an agreement on a special training course for the staff on duty in joint patrols on the Ukrainian-Slovak state border.
"To improve the professional training of persons involved in joint patrolling, the parties agreed to conduct a special training of personnel to perform service in joint patrols on the Ukrainian-Slovak state border," the press office of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reported on Thursday.
Tsyhykal and Cemi signed a plan on the development of cooperation between the administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Border and Alien Police of the Presidium of the Police Corps of Slovakia for 2019-2020, and agreed on the next meeting to be held in Ukraine in 2019.
