Sajdik, Alfano hold meeting in Ukraine

Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano has held a meeting with the OSCE special representative in the Trilateral Contact Group Martin Sajdik in Ukraine, the Italian Foreign Ministry said.

I highly appreciated the thorough and well-balanced briefing by the OSCE special representative, Ambassador Martin Sajdik, at the beginning of my trip to Ukraine, the press service of the Italian Foreign Ministry quoted Alfano as saying on Twitter on Tuesday.

The Italian foreign minister added that he is in Ukraine at the beginning of the Italian chairmanship in the OSCE in order to express support for the work of the observers of the OSCE special monitoring mission in Ukraine and to contribute to the resolution of the situation in Donbas.
