Muzhenko to participate in NATO Military Committee's work, meet with bloc's leadership
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko has begun an official visit to Brussels, where he will take part in the work of the NATO Military Committee at the level of chiefs of staff.
"The head of the Ukrainian delegation will participate in the meeting of the NATO military committee in the format with Ukraine, as well as in the meetings of the operational partners of the NATO mission in Afghanistan "Strong support,"and in the meeting devoted to cooperation in the format "Projecting stability," Liaison Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Tuesday.
At the NATO headquarters, Muzhenko will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with the political and military leadership of the Alliance, the heads of the general staffs of the armed forces of other countries. The topic of the discussion will be current aspects of regional security and practical issues of military cooperation with NATO countries and partners.
