Ukrainian Border Guard Service chief Nazarenko in satisfactory condition
The head of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, Viktor Nazarenko, who suddenly fell ill during the Ukrainian and Belarusian presidents' meeting with the press in Kyiv earlier on Friday, has been hospitalized for medical treatment and is in satisfactory condition.
Nazarenko briefly lost consciousness during events at the presidential administration office, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service said.
"He received first aid on the spot and was referred for subsequent treatment to a medical institution. Currently, the head of the State Border Guard Service is in satisfactory condition," the spokesperson said.
